When "yes" becomes action
Those are real business frustrations. And the answer isn't always another explanation, a tighter process or more pressure. Your communication is direct and clear, but they're still not doing it. Are you reaching them at the right level? Are you seeing what may be hidden beneath the surface?
People respond to more than your words. They sense your urgency, frustration or openness. Your state influences what you say and how you say it, which makes the difference between them taking responsibility and moving with you, or not.
Heart coherent leadership begins there. When you can regulate yourself and stay connected to others, you create more room for honest conversations and intrinsic motivation. That is where "yes" in the meeting has a better chance of becoming "yes" in action.
